“Daryl, I want you to call me Paul like before.” Daryl glanced at him lightly and said, “But we are not so close that we call each other by first names.”
“I…” Hearing her cold words, Paul clenched his fists, feeling extremely sad.

Daryl calmly said with an expressionless look, “If you continue pestering me, I will have to leave Austos.”
Meeting her cold eyes, Paul felt a sharp pain in his heart.
Her eyes had always been full of passion and love when she had looked at him
in the past
But now, she was looking at him coldly as if they were strangers.

Seeing him keep silent for a long time, Daryl said lightly, “I have finished what I

turned a new page. And you should move on too.”
Then, she walked out, leaving him dazed in place.
After the office door closed, Paul could no longer see Daryl’s back.
He decadently leaned back on the office chair, lit a cigarette, took a deep puff,
and slowly blew out white smoke rings.
Watching the smoke slowly dissipate in the air, he stretched out his hand and
grabbed the air with a fierce look in his eyes.
“Daryl, it’s not over yet.”
Seeing Daryl coming out of the office, Lucia immediately walked over and asked
worriedly, Daryl, are you okay? Did he do anything to you?’
