Hugh went to the quiet corner and called Zoey. The phone was soon answered. Zoey’s impatient voice came over.
“As I said, don’t call me randomly. People will suspect if they find out our connection.’’ They hadn’t taken any major actions yet.
If the others found out about their connection, they would be suspected once something happened to the Lion Group.
Hugh frowned, fought back his annoyance, and said, Lucia’s children went to see Burton.” Zoey sounded dissatisfied, “What are you good for? Didn’t I tell you to prevent people in the Lion Group from contacting him?”
When she learned that Lucia went to see Burton last time, she hurried over lest he should tell August about their cooperation. Luckily, Burton didn’t give her away. What was even better was that Lucia and August misunderstood the situation.
Although she failed to stop Lucia, the results were satisfactory. The bigger the misunderstanding was, the better it was. For that very reason, she couldn’t let them meet Burton.

“Enough!” Hugh was annoyed, “Instead of blaming me, you should get Burton away. We can’t let the two kids get involved in this matter.’
Zoey was scared by his angry voice and shut her mouth. After a while, Hugh collected himself, let out a sigh, and said, “Alright, tell Burton about this.”
“No,” Zoey smirked on the other end of the phone and said viciously, “I have a better idea” “What are you going to do?”

Zoey hung up the phone and found Burton in a high-end bar. Bottles and cans
were piling up at his feet. He was reeking of alcohol.
She looked at the drunken man and chuckled, Mr. Harris, you’re still drowning
your sorrow?”
She despised the man.
“It’s just a woman. When we take over the Lion Group, you will have all kinds of
women.”
Burton muttered without looking at her, “She… is different. No one can take her
place.”
He was heartbroken at the thought of what he had seen.
“Tsk, Zoey came over and looked down at him, “come on, there is something I
need your help with.”
“What is it?” Burton asked indifferently.
Since Zoey proposed to work with him, it was the first time she had asked for his
help. He didn’t take it seriously. But her following words made his heart tremble.
Zoey laughed viciously, “I heard that Lucia’s children are coming to see you. I
need you to kidnap them and… kill them.”
